I like how you frame the importance of connecting with head, heart and hands. It's so easy to get out of balance with this.

Sometimes these little articles are as much a reminder for me as anyone else. Here’s to bringing it all back into balance this summer 🌞

Love these reflections on reconnecting with head, heart, and hands Sarah — and your notes on balance, inspiring and resonant.

I keep coming back to the head, heart and hands theme…maybe there’s something in it!

A lovely reflection on Summer, Sarah. I really enjoyed how you look at it, I too feel the rush and overwhelm of summer, but I still love it. The elements of it, the opportunity. I love you shifted it, towards something positive, instead of the hustle and bustle.🌿

I am trying to unlearn to be in the future, to be where I am not. Instead be in it, where I am. On the sofa with my son, while he’s napping, nose deep in a book. Not missing the things I used to do (writing a piece on that atm), and being here, not thinking of when will he get used to the pram napping, or could he be eating more. Accepting that this where we are and things will come in their own time and we will do things again. ✨ But it takes practice.

I really felt your words here. That practice of staying “in it”…exactly where we are…is so hard at times, especially in the swirl of early motherhood. And I can relate to what you said about working on that habit of being in the future. Needing to know or fix or plan!

Looking forward to reading your piece when it’s ready. Sounds like one a lot of us will connect with 💫
