What is a brand ecosystem?
An ecosystem is a community of living organisms, interacting in ways that allow for growth and change. For me, it’s such a fitting metaphor for looking after the many facets of a brand.
This year, my literal garden has been both abundant and unpredictable, and my business has mirrored this. Some parts flourished while others asked for attention. So I took a step back over the summer to reflect on this connected map of touchpoints.
Like any garden or landscape, my brand is always shifting, and yours will be different. But what we share is a need to nourish the spaces we occupy because this is what keeps our art and work alive and evolving.
The more I return to the idea of creating a brand ecosystem, the more I see that it’s less about structure and more about relationship.
When we build from a place of connection, we create something more sustainable and attuned to us and our seasons.
